Radio Dreams

Music for the short series “Radio Dreams” (Spanish: “Sueños de Radio”), produced by Juan José Campanella, 100 Bares and Argentina´s Ministry of National Education, aired on “Canal Trece” in November 2009.

“Radio dreams” narrates the life story of high school teenagers of three little towns, less than a thousand people, framed in the vast geography of Argentina (Los Varela, in Catamarca; Puerto Pirámides, in Chubut; Solís, in Buenos Aires) that are organized to create a radio. Neither city has one.

The stories reflect, first, what it means to have a radio in rural villages, with low population density; and is also the stage to present how teenagers live, feel and think about present and future, with a different look at what youth is usually reflected.
